Don’t get it twisted, the man behind this somewhat odd moniker is a true future beat wizard that would never harm any animals, humans, or classic sample sources. His blissful electronic-fuelled rhythm sculptures have already created a decent buzz amongst today’s worldwide beats & bass scene and soundscapes always leave enough space for improvisation and that moment of quirky playfulness. Emufucka collaborated with Submerse, Djemba Djemba, DZA, Quarta330, Coco Bryce, King Henry of Virtual Boy, My Dry Wet Mess and Tokyo Hands among others, acted with such as Rustie, Ben UFO, Shlohmo and TOKiMONSTA, participated in the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy in New York in 2013 and signed singles and EP's to imprints such as Black Hole Recordings and Fremdtunes. He also performed at the SonarFestival(ES), Ultra Music Festival(JP), South by Southwest(US), Vladivostok Rocks Festival(RU), The Do-Over(US) and Japan FutureNow(FR). His music has been recognized and praised by the very best in tastemaker and mainstream media. Emufucka has been featured on various large-scale radio programs such as: BBC Radio 1Xtra BBC Radio 6, KCRW, Inter FM, Dublab, Ninja Tune's Solid Steel Radio Show to name a few. Subsequently, Wired, Fact Magazine, All Saints, Dazed & Confused Magazine O Globo, DJ Mag, XLR8R, Earmilk, Red Bull Music Academy, Red Bull Japan, Japan Times, The Find Magazine, SXSW(Rate:7/10) and more have featured him.
